Vetevendosje MP Victory Pacolli today has been notified by Serbia. There she is attending a conference where she points to women's involvement in leadership positions.
Pacolli is staying in Serbia's Sabac.
Here's her announcement:
After Montenegro, the Green Balkan Netek conference organised by Europe's Green Party and NDI is being held in Sabac, Serbia.
At this conference in the Political Party panel: Djindia and I actively introduced the role of Vetevendosje Movement in the inclusion of women in leadership positions in Kosovo's state public institutions. Participants were interested in understanding how the Vetevendosje Movement achieved the gender quota already on two sides of the last elections. All MPs from the Vetevendosje Movement in the 2019 and 2021 parliamentary elections have managed to secure seats without gender quota assistance.
On the panel with me were two successful women in their countries Amelia Womack from the Green Party in the United Kingdom and Natalia Stojmenovic from Dont Let Belgrade Droen.
I also used the case to inform them how Serbia is hindering the Government of Kosovo to help discriminated Albanian citizens in Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc. Serbia for no reason has rejected the visiting request of ministers Arberie Nagavci, Iron Murati, Hajrula Ceku and Lieburn Aliu, who had planned a two-day visit to Medvedja, Bujanoc and Presevo, even though the visit was planned in harmony with procedures and the agreement in Brussels.
