This is new UNMIK chief in Kosovo

Ziadeh succeeds Zahir Tanin from Afghanistan, to whom the secretary general said he is grateful for his efforts for peace and stability in Kosovo and the region, as well as for his effective mission leadership.
The new UNMIK chief after serving since 2017 as director of the Department of International Organisations, Conferences and Cultural Services at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Lebanon Emigrants already in the new post comes with a nearly 30-year experience in international diplomacy, including the diplomatic service of Lebanon.
It also has broad knowledge of the United Nations after leading national delegations to the United Nations on issues such as migration, sustainable development and the work of the Ministry on human rights and the agenda of women, peace and security”.
Ziadeh has a basic and master's degree in economics and political science from Lebanon University to Beirut and diplomas in international relations from Libre de Brookelles University and Vienna Diplomat Academy. She speaks fluent Arabic, English and French.
