Bulgarian media have published images showing the site of the event where the bus from Macedonia was hit and 46 people and 7 people were killed.
Among the victims are 12 minors, two twins. The driver's life was also lost in the accident. Seven people, two women and five men have been rescued and in hospital. Northern Macedonia Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani said the bus was returning to Skopje after a trip from Istanbul.
After the accident, Struma highway will remain closed throughout the day, at least in the direction of Sofia-Balgoevgrad, on which the bus traveled. Currently, investigations continue to reveal the causes of the accident and the burning explosion of the bus. It is learned that 7 persons have been sent to the hospital
