“WAR-Fash. Glodjan, Decan 26.11.2021-18:58. It was reported that a bus while carrying a traveler was attacked with firearms (is suspected to be AK-47) by an unknown suspect. In this case, deadly injuries have suffered bus leader, the Kosovo male victim whose death the medical team has ascertained at the scene. And three victims, two males and one female (extra) have been sent to the Regional Pec Hospital, two of them have passed away (a male and a female) while the other victim is being treated in the hospital. The relevant units are on the scene. The suspect is on the run, the case in the investigative procedure”, said the report.
Otherwise, three people were killed by gunfire in the direction of a bus near the village of Gllojan of the Decani municipality.
The shooting happened Friday night.
Kosovo Police Deputy Commander in the Pec region Veton Elshani has said police, for now, have no reason to believe the event in Decani is a terrorist act.
According to him, police have reason to believe that the “attack has been carried out by a single person”.
