Svechla doesn't know if people want the entire deadline for permission in Kosovo and Albania

Svecla countering Prime Minister Rama's “ ” for the overall departure of the timetable for the residence of both sides' citizens, said such a thing can happen if viewed as an obstacle to citizens.

So, Mr. Svechla seems to be unaware that Albanians in Kosovo and Albania want that.

“are important agreements for citizens of the two countries. The first is the smooth crossing of the border for residents of the border generation. This generation, which is 30km wide in Kosovo and 30km on Albania's side. This residents and citizens of the two countries will be able with a special permit to circulate within this area. The second agreement involved residence permits for Albanian citizens in Kosovo, for citizens of Kosovo in Albania have only removed it. With this agreement not only eases but also removes all current procedures that have caused trouble for Albania's citizens in Kosovo. All it takes is to have an identification tool and a residence address in Kosovo. They automatically earn the right to stay five years, which can be continued if they want to. The third agreement has to do with re-qualification of the border point in Sishhvec, where from the type '%cʹ passes into type '%bʹ, that means 24 hours of work and the passage of goods and citizens not only of this area and third countries”, he says.

Minister Svecla, announced that he has created working groups for the implementation of the border crossing permit at Scyshtvec, and that the issue of permission of Albania's citizens is a question of return to Pristina and decision making.

We have established working groups that are working on the protocols of these agreements absolutely. It's a matter of days when we're going to do the design of passage permits. In Sishtvec, it will start work at once, and the issue of permission is a question of return to Pristina and giving directives that even this issue will be regulated”, he declares.

Responding to Prime Minister Rama's request for a complete 5-year-old departure of the deadline for residence permits, Svecla says that if necessary, this criterion will be removed as a whole.

We don't have this problem at all, and there is a clause in the deal that even with protocol deals can be changed. If we look at the need and as an obstacle, they will also extend the 5-year term. For us, the important thing is that citizens of the two countries can stay, study and work without obstacles”, he adds.

The joint meeting between the Kosovo government and that of Albania was held today in Elbasan, Albania. From there 13 agreements were signed to advance bilateral relations between the two countries.
