Special Prosecution Rejects Penal Discretion against Selim, Nehat Thaqi

News of the decision to cast criminal speculation has confirmed the special prosecutor, Milot Krasniqi.

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK) has dismissed the criminal outcry filed by Justice Ministry officials (MD) against Selimi and Nehat Thaci in April of this year, allegedly misusing official positions to benefit the judiciary-private person. “Yes, we've handled the case, the reason for the drop is that the suspect's actions have no elements of the criminal act for which it was criminalised, nor any other work, which is followed according to official task”, the prosecutor Krasniqi said of the Justice Vocation.

News of setting up criminal remarks to former Justice Minister Selim Selim Selimi and the director general of the Kosovo Correcting Service (SHKK), Nehat Thaci, had become public on the social network “Facebook” by Deputy Justice Minister Blerim Sallah.

In this regard, Deputy Justice Minister Blerim Sallah, who had published the news of the establishment of this criminal outcry, has been reluctant to comment on the news of the same cast.

I'm not in Kosovo, I have no knowledge. I don't know what it says in that decision”, he said.

The “Justice Vow” has also contacted former USKK Director General Nehat Thaqi, who has said he has no knowledge of this decision, so he cannot comment without reading it.
