As the Serbian medium “Tanjug” reports, talks will continue in the afternoon, but are not known in which format, so if the two sides are on the same table.
The meeting with the head of the Serbian delegation, Petar Petkovic, has lasted an hour longer than planned until Tanjug confirmed that the first issue put forward by the Belgrade delegation was the formation of the Serb Major Community Association.
“We are here to talk and are absolutely willing to talk to Pristina. That's why we're here. Now their constructiveity is on the test, and if direct talks are to be held now depends exclusively on Pristina. We came to Brussels following the EU's call to discuss Association, as warned in the EU statement of September 30th”, the Belgrade delegation said.
Until any information has been given to the Kosovo government for today's meeting, Serbian media are reporting that the Kosovo delegation is currently at a meeting with EU mediators, and the result of that conversation depends on whether there will be a trilateral afternoon meeting or whether the talks will continue bilaterally.
