Double citizenship and short-term residence permits will be eased, and Muslim objects belonging to protection will be provided.
Children born by foreign parents in Germany can take German citizenship provided one of the parents is the country's legal resident for five years.
The level of language required in terms of citizenship for the first generation of guest workers who have gone to Germany will be reduced and the naturalisation of these people will be eased.
