Albanian Post has indicated on the basis of its sources that Rama is expected to be dismissed because of disagreements between him and Defence Minister Armend Mehaj. Albanian Post says procedures for his dismissal were launched two months ago.
Disagreements between the KSF commander and the defence minister have reached the critical point on September 18th, two nights before the Kosovo Police action to impose reciprocity for plates with Serbia.
On the evening of September 18th, Minister Mehaj has ordered the command of the Kosovo Security Force to paint four armoured military vehicles M1117. ASV, property of the blue KSF, with the reasoning that they would be used in support of police action in the country's north.
Rama spoke on the Pressing show about these reports. He has said he has yet to accept anything official from the government.
“I've accepted nothing official from the government”, he said.
