Arben Year's position in last night's debate has been strategically wrong:
- It has allowed debate to take place on the topic of Progress Rama for urban solutions to the city rather than to guide it in terms of health where it could do better;
- Trying to name Rama's programme as unmet, strengthened the voices of critics that the Year is for small projects and Rama for large;
- Its main advantage focuses on government support. Aware that the martinians have traditionally voted differently, and they are not impressed at all;
- He was a contractor. While stressing that government support is vital to the success of the municipality, it reiterated that Shpend Ahmeti's first term has been successful despite the government being led by another party;
- In the second round, when the votes of other party supporters are determining, he was disfellowshipped from voters outside the VV base, whose votes were clearly not enough to win the race;
- He opened and ended the debate, presenting fears that Pristina's loss empowers the opposition. Hence, victory is needed to protect Government from the opposition, not to make it a better city for its citizens.
