In the case of Albania's 1-09-year advance, Norwegian professor Kenneth Andresen has published a rare Pristina photo with the Red and Black flag on 28 November 1999.
Andresen had accepted calls from his state army during 1999 to join a military mission in Kosovo. It has been known to collect cards from Kosovo since the 1970s.
Today, however, it has congratulated Albanians with a rare picture, published on Twitter.
Today 109 years ago in Vlora representatives of Albanian Villejet declared the independence of the Albanian State. The Vlora National Assembly held its first meeting on 28 November 1912, with the act of declaring Albanian State Independence by the Ottoman Empire.
Albania's declaration of independence was the crowning of centuries-old efforts and ongoing wars by Albanians for the liberation of the country.
