Djindin confirmed his victory in the second round of elections, which was held Sunday on November 14th. He won 20 thousand and 254 votes (56,06%) in these local elections, leaving his counter-Candidate from Vetevendosje, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, who won 15 thousand 873 votes or 43.94%
Who is Ardian Gjini?

Ardian Gjini was born on 18 January 1970 in Gjakova. In 2017 he was elected chairman of the Gjakova municipality. He has been deputy of the Kosovo Assembly for two mandates and chairman of the AAK Parliamentary Group.
The assembly's legislatures have been a member of the Commission for Foreign Affairs and the one for Legislation.
From June 1997 until March 2001, he was chairman of the Albanian National Democratic Party branch in Gjakova.
He served as vice president of the Gjakova municipality until October 2000. That same year, a member of the municipal assembly in Gjakova and director of the Information Technology Department has been elected.
During talks on Kosovo's final status, he was a member of the Strategic Political Group for negotiations during negotiations in Vienna for the Ahtisaari plan.
He was also a member of the first constitutional commission. Ardian Gjini is a veteran of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
From March 2002 to September 2003 has served as political adviser to Prime Minister Bajram Rexhepi. In December 2004, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's first political adviser has been appointed.
In March 2005, the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning has been elected in the Kosovo government. He served in that post until December 2007.
Currently, he is the first vice president of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the chairman of the branch of this party in Gjakova.

He's married, he has two daughters and a son. He lives in Gjakova.
