In a written statement, Petkovic commented on Kurti's latest statement that there will be association. He said these statements serve Kurti, among other things, for domestic political warfare before the second round of local elections in Kosovo.
The “is unacceptable and shameful for Kurti to show arbitraries and arrogance when it comes to implementing the agreements reached in Brussels and to do so without any sanction, especially those who are guarantor for the implementation of what has been signed. There is no doubt that Kurti is saying that not only will there be no Serbian Communist Association, but there will be no Serbs in Kosovo”, Petkovic said, his office announced.
