“Pandemia is not existing at the time when there is elections”, businesses warn protests

The government's failure to eliminate measures and the lack of full operation of businesses has led the latter to conduct accusations in terms of institutions.

They say respect for the measures has not been made even by political parties in the elections that were held this year.

“Pandemia is not present at the time when there is a choice but it exists after the end of them, and this is mostly the suffering of the economy and various businesses that are limited to its activity, especially businesses that have to do with public organisation, such as parties, hotels, gastronomia, and many other businesses, so I'm saying that the Government is not bringing the real situation back, but it is conforming harmful political decisions for the country's economy<1>, Sahini said.

And from the Kosovo Gastronomous Association, they say the Government's focus has been on local elections, not business.

Arian Vranica from this association has said that if the measures are not released, protests will be held before the government.

And this is actually a neglect, where we have seen that the whole focus and power of the Government of Kosovo has been in local elections, and we have seen that it has been completely brutalised with respect to measures and there has been no signal that will have the release of measures but only warnings that the situation in the region is very disturbing. We have had no economic support measure that would go to some of the domains have worked, such as nightclubs and wedding halls, and also the partial operation of gastronomy”, he said, as he added that no protests would be ruled out unless the measures are released, EO reports.
