AKR chairman Behgjet Pacolli has expressed himself ready to participate in his Kurt government programme. He says he does this only for the sake of Kosovo. “We have no contact with Kurt. “We have no contact with Kurt. Contacts have been interrupted from the moment I gave the task to first government, but I'm willing to give them part of the programme for the sake of Kosovo, because I'm getting a sugar shake. When it comes to Kosovo's interests, then ideological, party and personal interests fall apart. These are my goals. If it's something good for Kosovo I'm willing to contribute to the future of”.

Pacolli in Eyes 7 said Kurti's party saw him as an accomplice for the implementation of his governing programme, which he said was very ambitious, but that because of ideological differences this attempt was never realised.

We with Vetevendosje have had an attempt to cooperate in the future. We worked in 2016 to harmonize our programs. I was almost convinced that Vetevendosje is the party that will get much of our programme and have future government programmes. We were not fortunate to cooperate with Vetevendosje because of ideological problems, and we split up”.

The AKR chairman also said that despite being part of government in the past, he has failed to implement his plans in the way he has wanted to create new jobs.
