During the meeting, the president thanked the deputy secretary for the continued and very valuable contribution of the United States government to Kosovo and the region, as well as expressed his strong desire to increase the level of engagement on a range of issues from security to diplomacy.
Osmani reiterated once again that Kosovo would continue to stay close to our biggest and most reliable ally and that the decision for Afghans was only a testimony to our dedication in this relationship.
Montgomery also thanked the President for her personal commitment to enable the arrival of Afghans and expressed the gratitude of the United States for Kosovo institutions and its people who have made them feel welcome.
