The World Health Organization has warned the rising number of Coronavirus countries not to be too late with austerity measures.
The previous “The previous actions can be implemented, potentially few actions should be taken,” the WTO expert for Codavi-19, Maria van Kerkhovet, declared from Geneva.
She noted that the current Delta version of the virus is much more contagious than previous variants, reports ATS.
Some countries are in a difficult situation and must implement very strict “steps”, the WTO health emergency director Mike Ryan stressed.
The OBS, as usual, did not mention any specific country or comment on the actions of any specific government.
The measures cited include widespread use of masks, space, good internal space ventilation, the avoidance of crowds in closed spaces, and work from house to house where possible.
