For the November 20th International Child Rights Day, HANDICOS in collaboration with representatives of the opposition group, THREE and the Community Assembly of Children today have launched the awareness video through which it is called for respect and implementation of Administrative Guide 33/2007 that regulates infrastructure access for disabled persons.
In this regard, children have also held meetings with representatives of the Health Directorate, Social Management, Education, Urbanism & Infrastructure in four municipalities: Pristina, Ferizaj, Gjakova and Mitrovica, to whom they submitted the written ed request, while taking vows from them that they would increase pressure on respecting this instruction and that it would be worked towards improving and creating access to key institutions.
This activity was implemented under the project Promoting Violence Prevention in all environments to Kosovo's disabled children, which is implemented in collaboration with Save the Children in Kosovo and supported by Swedish AIDS.
