North Korea bans leather jackets, should not be imitated by Kim

The clothing was worn by Mr. Kim Jong in December 2019 and has since become a real trend among the elite in North Korea that is showing loyalty to their leader.
There's no telling what's been going on. Kim wore leather at the time.
Finally, though, stores that are made of leather have been closed.
It all started last September, when informal trade between China and North Korea began after the blockade due to a pandemic. Local merchants started buying leather jackets. This apparently did not please the North Korean leader.
