Nasim Haradinaj breaks out in special, berated by judge

O Deputy Chairman VL KLA, Nasim Haradinaj, has made his next appearance at the Special Court in the leadership of continuing judgment against him and his chief, Hysni Gucatit. He has accused the Special Court of being an unfair court, until he added that some of the people who are testifying in Hakka “have their hands with blood”.

There are the same people whose names are heard in this courtroom, who have blood in their hands, and that Procrucratia now seeks to protect from the public to save its shame. Prosecutor Jack Smith stood before you and said it had nothing to do with the KLA. That's a lie. That's exactly what it's about”, Haradinaj said.

From the beginning of his speech, Haradinaj urged the court to complete the case.

Honored “members of the panel, judges and you representatives of my country who are here today and listen to me, I make these brief comments as proud citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, who have been subjected to a process by the prosecution that can only be described as unfair and selective. Now I bid you honour the judges of a national institution of my native country to complete this matter”, Haradinaj said.

He said he was treated with contempt by the prosecution, while adding that the last “have shown quite clearly that our greatest fear has been realised”.

He said he is currently in custody for 14 months without any evidence.

The chairman of the court begged Haradinaj to speak to him, not about war and other cases.

We need to focus on the court case. We should not talk about war”, the judge said, telling Haradinaj not to make political statements.
