It is believed that the man was trapped inside the wall for two days as rescue teams cut through the theater walls and found him naked.
In a Facebook statement, the Syracuse Fire Department said it was not clear how he entered the space of procrastination against the wall.
The workers who saw him lost track of his whereabouts and assumed he had left, as it was not clear how he had entered the space of crawling against the wall.
Police said that the man seemed to suffer from a mental illness and would not be charged or identified.
