He's been gone seven months. Nothing yet is known about the fate of businessman Bedri Rexhepi

Today, seven months are due to the disappearance of businessman Bedri Rexhepi. From April 8, 2021, Rexhepi disappeared in mysterious circumstances, and nothing is known of his destiny.

During this time the family has had doubts in the prosecutor's work, since they feel that the institutions should have done more about making the businessman's fate worse.

Family members say they have many other reasons why they suspect that the work of institutions in finding Bedriu has not been done so far and properly.

The procurators don't even remember that we live with months of anxiety, that's because they're not looking for their man and don't associate with us as family. Also, we have our doubts that this outcry is happening because prosecutors are looking at the possibility of setting up the indictment with the evidence they have but without finding Bedriu, and that would make it even harder to clear the case. We as family have 3 lawyers committed to this case, but on the same occasion have almost never been contacted by the prosecution, nor by police to be informed of the actions that have been taken or that will be taken”, Bedriu's brother, Vedat Rexhepi, had said long ago in a proposal for KosovaPress.

He adds that as comfort, they have been told that there have been many people found since the war. For them, however, this does not stand and demand responsibility from the country's institutions.

The last time the prosecution had been declared about this case involved the fact that they were treating the matter seriously and were cooperating with all other security institutions.
