The police report said that initially the young man was sent for treatment to the Mitrovica Regional Hospital and that he was later transferred to QKUK, where he died.
“Rr. Artim Jashari, Mitrovica 30.10.2021-00:15. It has been reported that the Kosovo male victim allegedly, following a flurry of disagreement, has been physically attacked with a sharp tool (tooth) by two Kosovo male suspects on the run. The victim after accepting first aid at the Mitrovica Regional Hospital has been transported to QKUK, who, failing to cope with the suffered injuries, has passed away whose death the medical team has confirmed. The relevant units have been taken to the scene, while the lifeless body of the prosecutor's decision victim has been sent to the IML for organisation. The case continues to be investigated”, the report said.
Later, police announced that suspects have also been identified. Suspects in the murder are Navour Beqiri and A.Z., on the run.
“From the thus-now investigative actions, police investigators have identified the identity of two suspected persons who remain on the run. The investigative course is continuing in co-ordination with the prosecutor of the case in the direction of apprehending suspects and fully clarifying all circumstances related to the case of the criminal offense, said the report.
The 25-year-old was one of many victims who lost their lives as a result of the possession of weapons by young people.
For a short period of time in this city, the lives of some young people were wiped out.
Some of the murders have still failed to dawn, while violence and uncertainty in the town of Mitrovica is continuing.
