Minister Murati meets Italian ambassador: Talk about economic growth and well managed finances

Minister of Finance, Labour and Transfers Iron Murati has been hosting Italy's new ambassador to Kosovo Antonello De Riu to discuss the Government programme, the Economic Renewal Pack and the 2022 Budget Bill.

Minister Murati before the Italian ambassador has introduced the work of the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers, focusing on the measures of the Economic Resurrection Pack, the physical management of public finances and the economic growth the country has had in recent months.

According to the Ministry of Finance communiqué, “Ambassador De Riu has pointed out that he has carefully followed recent developments in the country, and especially the 2022 Budget Bill, which is directly aimed at achieving the pre-priced targets at the Government Programme 2021-2024”.

Minister Murati announced during the meeting that Ambassador De Riu announced the situation with the pandemic situation, stressing that the Government has taken a series of measures to control pandemic, making Kosovo the country with the most vaccinated population in the region.

Currently, “Ambassador De Riu thanked Minister Murati for the reception and stressed that they will support Kurti Government in achieving goals for improving the lives of Kosovo citizens, as well as continuing with increased co-operation between the two countries”.
