Analyst Agon Maliqi has commented on Kosovo's failure to attend the Democracy Summit from the United States.
Maliqi via post in “Facebook” has requested clarification by President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti, concerning what Kosovo wants in the group with Cuci, Dodik, Lucashencon, Oban and Erdogan, as states that did not receive an invitation to attend this Sam.
“Prime Minister Kurti and President Osmani should explain to us why in one of the major US initiatives to counter the threat from authoritarian regimes like China and Russia, our main ally does not invite Kosovo? How is it that the United States views us in Europe as part of a non-pressigious anti-Western Ottoman club along with Vuciqi, Dodik, Lucas, Orban and Erdogan?”, he wrote in a post in “Facebook”
He said Kosovo's classification of these states is not linked to domestic democracy, but to foreign and security policy.
This because, according to the common Maliqi of leaders who are not invited to participate in this Samit is that they do not have foreign policy compatible with the US.
This division of Kosovo cannot be related to domestic democracy, where we are better than the region, but to foreign and security policy. The common of these authoritarian leaders mentioned above is that they are leaders who not only do not have foreign policy compatible with the US, but actively fight against its interests and European security. What is Kosovo looking for in this group?”, said further in the announcement.

I'm convinced it shouldn't have been easy for the United States to do this state thing that they helped create. So there must be a huge problem here that our leaders must have been getting signals for a long time because this slap doesn't come as a first warning. This division of Kosovo cannot be related to domestic democracy, where we are better than the region, but to foreign and security policy.
