After losing, AAKA candidate in Unik resigns

AAKić's candidate for mayor of Kamenica in this year's local elections, Agron Kuci, has resigned from the position of AAKA's first in this municipality after failing to win the second term as chairman. Through a text on his Facebook account, Kuci has explained the reasons for his decision.

Agron Kuci lost the runoff race against the LDK) candidate. He says the election result is his responsibility, until he wished against the candidate.

The resolution in the election, exclusively, is my responsibility and that of no one else so aware of it, I resign irrevocable from the position of the AAK Branch chairman, with the best intention of having the branch run by a new spirit, and I am convinced that our branch in Junik does not lack, rather the potential we have combined is too great and stands up to the proper height, Kuci wrote.

Dear Citizens of the World Yunik,

Respected allies!

Let me first thank you for the confidence you have shown for years, primarily towards the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and me as head of the branch and mayor of the municipality for 12 years, making us the winner (local and national elections) in more than 9 election processes, so from 2009 onward!

Of course, such unspoiled loyalty and work with the highest integrity merit eternal consideration and respect. So I do not hesitate to say frankly that for all the successes achieved today and 12 years to make our Junic better and more blessed, I dedicate it to you, dear citizens, because I say it without modesty, you are the motive and the headpiece of success and an admirable achievement of our New Community.

The result, released by the CEC, shows that we have not won in the Yunik mayor's race. So once again I want to thank from the heart all the governing structures of The Alliance for the extraordinary work and engagement, our loyal activists and sympathies, and all of the Junean citizens, for the great culture and discretion shown in the face of a vicious and lynching campaign against me and my family. Time to witness this.

Thank you for entrusting us with your vote, confirming this time as the first party in Unik, despite the outcome in the rival camp, which were three parties in the joint coalition ( LDK, VV and PDK in front of us as the only party!
