The heads of state, different companies and members of civil society will together in two days, as part of discussions under the Paris Peace Forum. Besides other states, Prime Minister Albin Kurti will attend Kosovo. But until his office has let the agenda know, he doesn't figure out how to be among the speakers of this forum.
On the official website of this forum, the government head's name does not figure as a speaker in the works of this organisation, which is being held for the fourth time in a row.
Unlike Kurti, at the top of the list of speakers is Serbia's Prime Minister Anna Brnabiq.
She has even announced that Kosovo will be one of the topics of discussion at the meetings she will have in France, within the framework of her stay there.
“For tomorrow is also preparing session of the U General Conference NESTO and 75th anniversary marking U NESTO. I will return and deal with the Kosovo issue, as well as our cultural and historical heritage, churches and monasteries in Kosovo, which are under U protection. NESTO's”, she said.
His trip to France, according to Professor Dritro Arifi, Prime Minister Kurti must use it to seek visa removal for Kosovo.
“Peace Conference, in Paris where Kurti has an invitation, I see it as very positive despite the problems Kosovo may have with France due to non-liberal visaisation, because France is the key, which opens the door or closes the door in this respect, and in this regard I see it very positive because then the prime minister can lobby for political issues and for visa liberalisation, which is a very vital issue for the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo<1>, Arifi said.
The forum's works, which began Thursday, are scheduled to wrap up on November 13th, while, among other things, are expected to be discussed problems caused by the pandemic and improving global governance in the time of COVID-19.
