Kurti reportedly has met with KFOR commander, promised co-operation and co-ordination

Republika Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, along with Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Svecla, hosted the commander of NATO's peacekeeping forces in Kosovo today (KFOR), Major General Ferenc Kayari.

Prime Minister Kurti thanked Commander Kayári for KFOR's contribution to maintaining peace, security and stability in the Republic of Kosovo.

He reaffirmed his and Government readiness for communication, co-operation and co-ordination of actions between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and KFOR, in the service of peace, stability and security for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.

The prime minister expressed institutional commitment to fighting crime and corruption and rule of law as priorities of governance.

Major General Kayári praised Minister Svechla for the high commitment and professionalism that Kosovo Police are showing in the service of citizens.

He expressed the will and willingness of the multinational force to continue co-operation with institutions for the creation and preservation of the safe and secure environment in Kosovo.
