Kurti is appointing former Prime Minister Hashim Thaci for Health as minister. Rifat Latifi was appointed to that post in 2019 by Thaci.
Latifi is otherwise chief of General Surgery at the Westchester Medical Center in New York, professor at Arizona University, member of the American College of Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons, founder of the Kosovo College of Surgeons since December 2018.
In 2009, Latifi was appointed health adviser by then Prime Minister Hashim Thaci.
Meanwhile, among the names spoken of in this position is cardiologist Ramadan Jashari, who has been admitted since he lives in Belgium.
