The VV candidates only dated Kurt, as if they were Kurti's” children, Krasniqi says in T7.
The PDK won in 8 municipalities in local elections, three of which are major centres.
Meanwhile, VV won only four municipalities. This was a desperate result for the VV, which had won in most municipalities in the February 14th central elections.
Krasniqi has also said that PDK candidates have been carefully chosen.
“We have chosen candidates carefully. They've been great in interpersonal communication with the citizen. I think they made the difference. I myself have led the campaign and visited all candidates to see what the situation is like”, he said.
He also says that after the first round, he has called for calm, since victory was not yet certain.
“After the first round, we were told we were winners of the elections, but called for caution. Then after the vote count, we won and were very happy with the score of”, he shot.
