Krasniqi, through a Facebook post, recalled Alphabet's Day, saying that from 14-22 November, the nation's patriotic, intellectual and homeland elite gathered in Manastir to build a national cohesion about writing Albanian, unifying the Albanian alphabet.
Marking November 22nd, Alphabets ' Day, we do well to remember with honor all those intellectuals and natives who overstepped the barriers of time, becoming together in the national call for writing the Albanian language. Despite all the obstacles and circumstances of the time, they were held together to establish a crucial tool in the liberation of national consciousness, which the awareness would climax even with the political liberation of our nation, Krasniqi wrote.
He added that Kosovo has only been released once, in June 1999 after the glorious KLA war.

From November 14 to November 22, 1908, the nation's patriotic, intellectual, and homeland elite would gather in the city of the Monastery to build a national cohesion around writing Albanian, unifying the Albanian alphabet. The monastery congress, therefore, is an event of exceptional national character and a crucial and determining turn for the future of Albanians in the range of Western civilisation.
Marking November 22nd, Alphabet's Day, we look forward to all those intellectuals and natives who exceeded the barriers of time, becoming together in the national call for writing and Albanian writing. Despite all the obstacles and circumstances of the day, they were held together to establish a crucial tool in the liberation of the national consciousness, which awareness would climax even with the political liberation of our nation.
Albanian has kept us united for centuries, and consciousness carried through writing Albanian has been the foundation of the national liberation project. The release of our political conscience with the writing, reading and articulation of consciousness has been a prerequisite for political liberation, which, although fairly late, in Kosovo has occurred only once and in June 1999, following the glorious and just war of the Kosovo Liberation Army and our allies.
Happy Alphabet Day.
