Two defendants have responded before the Aaru District Court for an illegal car race that took place two years ago on the A1 highway.
It's about a 27-year-old Kosovo and a 36-year-old Swiss.
The charge charges the two people in question that they have held an illegal car race on the A1 highway between Suh and Baden-Dättwill in mid-October 2019, Tele M1 television reports.
The race was held in the middle of a 458 Ferrari and a BMW M5. The maximum maturity was 196 and 191 km per hour.
The two racers, not only had they violated the basic traffic rules seriously and multiplied multiples, but they had also prevented and endangered other drivers who were involved in traffic.
The public prosecutor has sought jail for both persons for 24 months, respectively, broadcast albinfo.ch. The prison is required to be effective (not conditional), because both have respective criminal precedents for countering traffic.
The court has largely followed the prosecutor's stance, but, however, has reduced the sentences for several months: Both were sentenced to 28 months and 22 months in prison, respectively, and must pay another fine.
