Kosovo invited to Democracy Summit, President Osmani publishes invitation from Biden

I thank President Biden for inviting to the summit for Democracy organised by the White House, as well as appreciation for the partnership offered by Kosovo to work towards empowering democratic society that respects human rights, which enable each citizen to fulfill its potential.

After last week's productive meetings in Washington, in which I have been announced that Kosovo will be part of this summit, I am honored to accept the invitation from President Biden.

The Republic of Kosovo is a bright example of continued efforts for freedom and democracy. As such, it is a model for our region and beyond. Kosovo will share its particular experience in building democratic institutions and practices, in extraordinary partnerships with our international friends, where the United States of America has played a leading role.

I am happy that on behalf of the Republic of Kosovo I will present the achievements and challenges we have, as well as we will jointly engage in implementing an ambitious plan to strengthen further our new democracy so that our citizens feel the benefits of democratic guidance based on rule of law, human rights and social inclusion.
