He was honoured with a “CBE” for his services to international law on the Queen's Day honor list, writes news.net.
He was awarded the prize from His Royal Highness Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.
Emmerson, a leading public rights consultant and corporate international risk management, serves as Chief Global Public Law at the firm's office in London.
He is a lawyer arriving in the courtroom with 35 years of history on the surface of sovereign states, as well as individual and corporate clients in front of courts and tributaries, including more than 20 cases at the United Kingdom Supreme Court and more than 30 cases at the European Court of Human Rights.
The CBE is one of Britain's highest - ranking orders and is given to people with remarkable achievements as well as to those who are grateful for their service to the State.
