He at the COP26 climate conference in Glasgo has said he understood the fragility of nature when he traveled into space.
The entrepreneurs, including Bezos, have been criticized for spending money on space travel instead of solving problems on Earth.
The Amazon has also been criticised by employees for environmental practices.
Speaking at the COP26 conference, Bezos said: “in many parts of the world, nature is already becoming a carbon sink, into a carbon source”.
Bezos Earth Fund plans to spend $10 billion to combat climate change in general.
