Health workers in Kosovo have entered 8-hour strike today due to their failure to realise their demands for the Law of Salats..
In this case, Federation of Health Unions Chairman Blerim Syla has said health workers at 43 health centres have entered the strike. He has said that they will continue with similar actions until their demands are met.
I apologize for the Kurt government firing on us for eight hours to separate from you. The strike will last another hour and a half. In 43 health centers, 100 percent have responded to the strike. For us unionists, this is a huge achievement that is showing unity in our demands. All emergency cases have been worked today. Today this strike is senzibilly throughout Europe.
We are once again sending a message to Prime Minister Kurti that today at 1500 p.m. to start thinking. Let this be the last message for Kurt's Government, sit down and talk. Don't shoot us with shit like that, he added.
He has also said that the Federation today has received great support from internationals as well.
He has added that if their demands are not met, they will go on strike next Thursday.
While, Nundman Jashari has said their demand is modest, they want dialogue with the government. He has said that if their demands are not accepted, there will also be protests and strikes by education workers.
