The Kosovo government has adopted the bill for 2022, worth a total of 2.7 billion euros.
Under this budget for 2022, the government has planned 8m and 960 thousand euros in total budget for RTK. RTK for 2021 had had had 11.2m euros in budgets to spend. This split has prompted reactions to the RTK Workers' Union.
They have requested from the Commission for Business, Work and Transfers that through the review of the budget draft, the budget will be increased for RTK. Also through a communique they have said that with this budget the well-being of RTK workers is threatened.
The Kosovo government at its 43rd meeting has approved the budget for 2022. Finance Minister Iron Murati said the budget is aimed at reorienting the economy towards export. The budget for 2022, according to the country's finance chief, will be 2.7 billion euros, which according to him represents change in public finance orientation.
In this budget law, there are other innovations. We have shared a contingent on new laws that can be expected over the next year, worth 50m euros”, Murati said during the meeting.
