The court in Frankfurt sentenced Taha al-Jumailly to life imprisonment for crimes involving the murder of a Yazid girl in Iraq.
Gihadist is being accused of slavery for a five-year-old in 2005, its connection, and of dying of thirst, reports the BBC.
Al-Jumaily is the first member of I SIS sentenced for genocide against the jaazis.
During the trial, defence lawyers denied the charges.
Yazid, a Kurdish-speaking minority, were persecuted by I SIS after the jihadist group had seized large parts of the territory in Syria and Iraq from 2014 onward. /Periscope
