“Prime Minister Kurti said that although the pandemic has brought considerable strain as we approach the second year of pandemic, the extraordinary performance of our economy with an average growth of 10.4% in the first part of 2021, makes us optimistic that this will be the growth trajector of the country for the next few years. This performance has also affected budget revenues that have enabled us to implement the points of the governing programme earlier than we planned, which can also be seen with the 2022 budget, which was approved at the latest meeting of the Government”, the government communiqué said.
On the other hand, as the government said in the announcement, Di Bella commended Kosovo government for its success in vaccinating the population, making the country the leader in the region, despite the fact that there was a late start in the process.
He also spoke about good economic and budgetary performance, which was beyond initial projections.
