EU calls on Serbia to allow Kosovo Government officials to visit Presevo Valley

Despite four Kosovo Government ministers, in line with the procedures and agreement in Brussels, on November 24th had applied to authorities in Belgrade to be allowed visits to Medvedja, Bujanoc and Presevo, on the day of the launch of their visit (November 27th) they were denied requests without any reasoning.
Regarding the rejection of the EU ministers' visit, EU spokesman Peter Stano has told the Telegram that the Kosovo ministers' <x0-visition had been accepted in accordance with the agreement and therefore had to be allowed to move away”.
The “call on Serbia to reconsider its decision and allow official visits to be held to meet the conditions mentioned above”, Stano has said of Telegrafi.
Stano further said the EU, expects both sides -- Kosovo and Serbia -- to fully implement all past agreements, including the agreement on official visits.
“Official visas are an important part of normalisation of relations and are an opportunity for greater communication between the” parties.
“According to the agreement, all visits must be conducted in a way that will advance the normalisation process or contribute to overall work in the context of the dialogue facilitated by the EU”, Stano has said.
Otherwise, on November 27th, Serbian authorities had denied a visit to Medvedja, Bujanoc and Presevo four of the ministers of the Kosovo government, Libran Aliu, Arberie Nagavci, Iron Murati and Hajrullah Ceku.
