US Special Emissar for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar, through an interview has assured that there will be no war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Escobar said he would in advance consult with US Ambassador to Sarajevo, then sanctions could be imposed on Serbian presidency member Milorad Dodik there.

Escobar will travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sunday, where he plans to meet with political exhibits there.

Similarly, Escobar will meet with US Ambassador to Sarajevo to discuss whether sanctions are imposed on Dodik. Still, there is no knowing what sanctions are involved.

But, Escobar said the most important is that there will be no war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I will first meet with the US ambassador there, then discuss the possibility of imposing sanctions in the direction of Dodik. But, I guaranteed all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina that there will be no war”, Escobar has been expressed for REL.

On the other hand, Escobar said that corruption is behind this political instability. According to him, Dodik is trying to protect his power and wealth.

Escobar urged citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina not to fall prey and let what Dodik wants happen.

I'll be very honest with you. Corruption is the main reason. What Milorad Dodik is doing is he's trying to keep his power and money. I urge people not to fall prey to it, not to let Dodik do what he wants”, Escobar added.
