Electricity of the traveling vehicles of the automobile industry, respectively, is taking up the pace, leaving traces. This is also evidenced by Rolls-Royce, the company that seems to be taking steps towards the process of electrifying the aviation industry.
Rolls-Royce battery aircraft has reached a maximum speed of 387 miles per hour, which can make it the fastest in the world. The spirit of innovation reached an average of 345 miles per three kilometers, beating the existing record of 132 miles to three kilometers because it reached 330 miles at a 15km distance.
The results will have to be imprinted by the FAI Global Organ that certified the flight data. Warren East, chief executive of Rolls-Royce, said: “To achieve world speed record is fantastic”.
The plane was empowered by a 400th engine with a battery pack that Rolls-Royce says has the best density of power.
The main obstacle to using batteries as a source of energy on airplanes is their weight. The energy system weighs 700kg, while the air frame is another 300kg. However, progress is being made each year.
Rolls-Royce hopes to use technology on smaller aircraft that can be used as an air taxi, carrying a small section of long-distance passengers about 100 miles without emissions and very little noise.
