Edi Rama arrives in Belgrade with a “Air Albania”

Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has just arrived in Belgrade on a “Air Albania” plane. Rama is expected to meet with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, and Northern Macedonia Deputy Prime Minister Nikola Dimitrov.
The meeting of the three leaders under the “Open Balkans initiative” will precede a meeting with representatives of companies from Albania, Serbia and Northern Macedonia, as well as representatives of the Atlantic Council.
A joint press conference of Rama, Vuciqi and Dimitrov will follow after the talks.
Parasely, Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister Dimitrov has been hosted at Belgrade Airport,Nikola Teslax1> by Serbian Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic.
In a proposal for Tanjug, Dimitrov said that North Macedonia, despite Prime Minister Zoran Zaev's resignation after local elections, is fully committed to the “Open Balkans initiative”.
I'm coming to a time when, as you know, local elections in northern Macedonia have ended, which have caused consequences, even in some way a political crisis. It is important that we as a state send a signal both state and government, fully devoted to the initiative that was born in the Balkans and aimed at all of the European Balkans”, Dimitrov said.
The deputy chairman of the Social Democrat League of Macedonia (LSDM), Muhamed Zekiri, said today that the time will show whether the initiative of the Open “Balkan” will be jeopardised following Prime Minister Zoran Zaev's resignation.
“Instead of Prime Minister Zaev, Macedonia today in Belgrade represents Deputy Prime Minister Nikola Dimitrov. Three leaders have launched this initiative (Alexandar Vuciq. Edi Rama, Zoran Zaev. Time will tell how dangerous it will be, but everyone knows what Mr. Zaev”, he said.
