Infections are largely confirmed in young people and their symptoms are usually softer, E president said CDC Andrea Amon, Guardian reported.
To assess whether Omitron avoids immunity, we have yet to wait until the investigation is completed in the laboratory with samples of persons who have recovered from omitron. This is expected in two weeks”, Amon added.
It stated that EU health authorities are weighing six other possible cases.
