We have new data. Is another operation scheduled within 48 hours? Foreign intelligence from Serbia has been working for the key substation in northern Kosovo”, writes Serbian medium “.
“The key to energy stability in the northern part of Kosovo, substation in the Zvecan municipality, is the new target of Pristina”, Milovan Drescu said on Thursday morning.
“If Prime Minister Albin Kurti's recent threats come true, it will be catastrophic for the Serbian people in northern Kosovo, because more than 85 per cent of electricity comes through Valacati”, the Serbian medium writes.
Meanwhile Drechun, invited by this media, says “Vallac is only a part of the problem that has not been fully resolved because Pristina does not observe the” agreements.
“Pristina is trying to take over the electricity supply of northern Kosovo, as well as take over the full power transmission network”, Drawn said.
“The key stations are Valac and Wyman, the Ujman hydropower plants and the Novi Pazar 2 ʹ Valac and Wyman Valac transmission lines. Management and maintenance of this EMS transmission system, and Kosovo operator COST is trying to take over all of these”” said Drescu on the morning program of this medium.
Drescu says the problem was born on May 6th, when Kosovo's Assembly has approved the decision by which COST authorises to take over the payment of electricity to citizens who do not pay electricity.
“This deadline expires on November 6,”, says Milovan Drechun
This is why there have been reports that Kosovo could take action to take control of the entire system, but those actions would certainly not go through without incident and the use of special units”, he says, among other things.
The chairman of Serbia's Parliament Commission for Kosovo adds that KFOR's intelligence activities towards Valac have increased markedly.
This guides us to prepare for certain unilateral Pristina actions. And all of this would not happen if Kosovo institutions respected the” agreements, Drescu concluded.
