In a communique by the UNDP, the Government building reportedly lit up with Dino's figure to raise public awareness of the urgency to flee the use of fossil fuels and transition to cleaner energy.

“We are designing Dino in Pristina to mark the end of the global climate summit, COP26. Dinosaure Frankie is the main figure of the UNDP's global climate campaign. Our friend who lived 66 million years ago has a powerful message for us. He disappeared because of an asteroid. He asks us why we're going to extinction. We are facing a climate crisis, but we can still avoid the worst impacts of climate change by working together and increasing climate operations. Through this campaign, The UNDP encourages reform of fossil fuel subsidies as a crucial step in combating climate crisis and moving towards a comprehensive and green recovery by COVID-19”, Maria Sukoko, UNDP's Permanent Representative.

Frankie Dino, the main feature of the campaign, is a proprotagonist in a short video sending a message that we need to act now before the threat of humanity's extermination becomes reality.
