The German weekly reported that until now, the armed forces have hired 630 soldiers. Military officials were not quick to comment, writes ReutersReport Express.

The federal government is expected to meet next week with regional leaders of 16 German states to discuss the rigging of restrictive measures, though the three parties that are holding talks on forming the new coalition government have agreed not to extend the emergency situation beyond November 25th. The emergency situation has been in effect since the beginning of the pandemic.
