Kurtish has added that this is not the only medicine missing.
They're missing completely, completely missing, he said.
“Hriceptine”, or as it is otherwise known as Trastuzumab, is a cancer drug used in the earliest and most recent stages of breast cancer. It is also used in treating stomach cancer and costs about 1,000 euros.
The Justice Trust had reported in August of this year that the drug was missing for three weeks, while with its supply, the director of Oncology had said that its supply is sufficient until the first three months of 2022.
In answer to the telephone, however, he said that this supply was only for that period of lack of budget.
For the lack of medicine, "Herczaptian" and other therapies have also shown A.H., who is treating his breast cancer mother at the Oncology Clinic.
On the other hand, the chairman of the Association of Patients in Kosovo, Besim Kodra, had said that patients buying essential list drugs themselves should sue the state and seek compensation.
