Although the cradle has been used since old times, often among the most precious gifts used as a child's bed, it is now being described as harmful.

Kosovo Paddy Guzim Jarra, today, has criticised the process of putting children to sleep through the cradle.

He has also asked the Government to stop the “from laying down” in Kosovo, as his child, according to him, suffers severe brain shock.

“Cudine since the government has not taken steps to remove violent cradles that present an extremely severe brain torture. Those kids never become like the ones who don't get into the cradle”, Jarra told local media.

That the use of cradle can bring problems to children, says ORL expert Aziz Mustafa.

In a conversation for Reporter.net Journal, Mustafa has said the cradle could affect the child's balance.

The ORL specialist has added that the issue is not that he has ever analyzed it, but that according to him it is the cradle movement that goes up and down can affect balance.

I have never analyzed this case. Something about the center of balance in the brain, the inner ear, the part that's about hearing and balance. Now as far as it's concerned, it hasn't happened to be read to me, neither did you listen to me, but there's a possibility, there's a possibility that the shocks that take place in the shape of the pendulum up and down, could then have an impact on the balance center of”, Mustafa told Online Reporter.net.

In ancient times the cradle was made of stone, and was later replaced by wood, being inherited from new generations.

Nowadays, the use of cradle comes in decline, though it occupys a special place in Albanian culture.
