High COVID-19 figures in region, risk for Kosovo as well

In the unstable situation, he also notes, it contributes to the fact that the most contagious Delta version of the coronary is dominant in Kosovo.
Kosovo, last weeks, has seen a decline in the number of infected and victims.
In the last 10 days, there have been 163 new positive cases and three deaths from the coronary.
Currently, active cases in Kosovo are about 440.
The situation in the region is different. On November 4th, over 6,000 new positive cases and 64 victims have been recorded in Serbia, in Bosnia over 1,000 cases and 32 victims -- in northern Macedonia 550 cases and 16 victims -- in Montenegro over 700 cases and 6 victims.
IKSHPK Director Naser Ramadani says the epidemiological situation could deteriorate, in case of increasing the number of new cases.
He warns that such a thing could present new overloads for the health system and health professionals.
“The KSHPK appeals to all citizens for respecting all measures, according to the decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo”, he says.
Measures currently in effect include wearing a mask in open and closed public environments, as well as testimony to the vaccine or negative test for access to shopping centres, restaurants, bars and other public places.
We recommend the responsible institutions to carefully monitor and take all necessary action to implement measures to prevent and combat pandemic. The IKSHPK appeal consists of the need for increased care of all, so that they strictly respect physical distance, use masks, perform disinfectation and ventilation of spaces, unable and avoid further eventual spread of the” infection, Ramadani says of the rel.
He points out that vaculation is the best and surest way to prevent the Coronavirus, especially the serious forms of sickness caused by it and death.
“We continue to strongly appeal for inoculation as wide as possible, as wide and as fast the population. The vaccine remains the strongest weapon to prevent the Hoospitisation”, Ramadani says.
In Kosovo, by Thursday (November 4th) more than 1.5 million vaccines against Coronavirus have been given, while over 735,000 citizens have been fully vaccinated, or 41 per cent of the general population.
Citizens of Kosovo, from November 5th, could be vaccinated against the Coronavirus without specifying the term in advance.
Kosovo's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that <x0 selectors can be vaccinated at any vaccine centre anywhere in Kosovo, regardless of which municipality belongs to “.
Respecting measures against pandemics and vaccines are the main elements that can prevent the spread and increase the number of coronary cases, health professionals say: Teuta Feyza, epidemiologist; Arben Vajaj, internist, and Judge Mulliqi-Osman, microbiologist.
Epidemiologist Fyza, director of the Public Health Institute in Mitrovica, says the situation with the pandemic is unstable and it can change.
“We don't know what lies ahead, we can't predict, but also expect a new wave of infection”, she says,
Fyza considers that citizens, in general, should be careful and, according to her, all health institutions must be respected.
“Vaxing must continue without interruption and the more vaccinated so that the wave of infection is as small as”, Fyza says.
Infectious Clinic Director at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo, Arben Visaj, says that whatever situation possible, the clinic will be ready.
He claims they are preparing for difficult epidemiological situations that can be presented.
Kosovo, as well as other countries, cannot be immune to this pandemic and the possibility of spreading infection in Kosovo exists. We, always, as clinics are doing everything possible that the situation, which is eventually expected to come, will deal with as desirable as possible”, says Visaj.
At the Infectious Clinic of the University Clinical Hospital Service of Kosovo on November 3rd, seven patients -- two in intensive care -- have been hospitalised.
On Tuesday, the Kosovo Health Ministry has also approved the decision on vaccinating children aged 12 to 15.
Epidemiologist Fyza says that on the basis of recommendations, even new age groups should be vaccinated.
There should be more information for citizens to decide on vaccinating younger age groups, as institutions” have put in place, she says.
Filliqi-Osman, retired professor of medical microbiology, says the place where there can be an increase in cases may be schools. She recommends that there be rapid tests.
I think that in schools maybe the quick trial or parenting test for the student is applied, at least once a week, so that we can escape from that immediate and intense show of high number of infected people”, Osmani says.
The rise in the number of coronary infections in Europe is a <x0-focused” and the region could face half a million more deaths by the beginning of next year, the World Health Organisation warned on Thursday.
The current transmission of the virus to 53 European region countries is a major concern”, O head said BSH for Europe, Hans Kluj, at a press conference, adding that new cases are approaching record levels.
Most European countries have reported in recent days increasing the number of cases of Corleone.
